This delicious veggie burger recipe is easy to make and packed with flavor. It's a great meatless option for burgers or sandwiches.

- 1 cupcooked quinoa
- 1/2 cupgrated carrot
- 1/2 cupfinely chopped onion
- 1/4 cuppanko breadcrumbs
- 1egg
- 1 tablespoontamari or soy sauce
- 1 teaspooncumin
- 1/2 teaspoonchili powder
- 1/4 teaspoongarlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoonsmoked paprika

In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher. Stir in the quinoa, carrot, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, tamari, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.

Form the mixture into 6 to 8 patties, about 1/2-inch thick. If they seem too wet, add a bit more breadcrumbs.
